ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Election Commission has so far released unofficial results of 212 NA seats out of 265 according to which former Prime Minister Imran Khan-backed candidates are leading with 90 seats followed by PML-N with 60 seats.
According to ECP provisional result, Pakistan People’s Party managed to secure 48 NA seats so far. Furthermore, MQM-P clinched eight NA seats and IPP and PML-Q got two seats each.
Over 128 million registered voters, including 69.2 million men and 59.3 million women, participated in casting their ballots for a record number of 17,816 candidates. This includes 5,121 candidates for National Assembly 266 constituencies.
