Major Attack in Kech District Foiled by Forces

Pakistani security forces successfully repelled a coordinated terrorist attack in the Tump area of Kech district, part of the Makran division, foiling what officials describe as a cowardly plan by militants linked to Fitna al-Hindustan.

According to security sources, the attackers had set their sights on the protection squad assigned to the Deputy Commissioner of Tump. The militants reportedly opened fire on the official’s vehicle in an attempt to abduct members of the security detail.

The swift and coordinated response from security personnel disrupted the attack before it could escalate. Officials confirmed that every member of the Deputy Commissioner’s protection team was rescued safely, with no casualties reported among the squad.

Faced with the strength of the counter-response, the assailants abandoned their vehicle along with weapons and fled the scene. Sources indicate that several militants sustained injuries during the exchange of fire with security forces.

Security Situation Now Under Control

Officials say the area has since been brought under full control, with no further threats reported in the vicinity. The successful thwarting of this attack highlights the continued vigilance of security forces operating across the Makran division, a region that has seen repeated attempts by militant groups to target government officials and law enforcement personnel.

This latest incident adds to a string of foiled attacks attributed to Fitna al-Hindustan, as security forces maintain heightened alertness across Balochistan’s sensitive districts. Authorities have not yet released further details on the identities of the injured militants or ongoing investigations into the incident.
