KARACHI: A man has been arrested for allegedly filming obscene videos of his wife for the dark web. The Central District Women Police conducted a raid that led to the suspect’s apprehension. He is accused of subjecting his wife and children to abuse while recording these incidents on behalf of an unidentified overseas entity.
According to SHO Women Iram Amjad, the arrest followed a successful operation in which the suspect’s wife and four children were rescued. During interrogation, the suspect admitted to communicating with website operators via WhatsApp and receiving explicit instructions via email from an unknown foreign source. These instructions directed him to film and send recordings of the abusive acts.
The suspect confessed to previously installing a camera in the bathroom to film his wife but claimed to have removed it later and denied uploading any videos. He also admitted to inflicting physical harm on his wife and was allegedly planning to film his daughter for subsequent tasks before his arrest.
The suspect’s wife accused him of pressuring her to engage in sexual activities with his associates and attempting to exploit their daughter. She stated that she had left the household multiple times over the past 12 years, only to be reconciled by parental intervention.
Furthermore, the wife revealed that her 16-year-old daughter, a matriculation student, had been blackmailed with nude photos taken by her father and forced her into engaging in sexual activities with his friends.
The police are investigating the suspect’s mobile phone and laptop.
