Marka-e-Haq Anniversary: Pakistan Reaffirms Strong Defence Response Against Any Aggression

Marka-e-Haq anniversary

Pakistan marked the first anniversary of the Marka-e-Haq anniversary with a renewed message of strength, preparedness and national unity. The armed forces warned that any future aggression against the country would receive a much stronger and more precise response.

Last year, tensions between Pakistan and India escalated after New Delhi accused Islamabad of involvement in an attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir without presenting evidence. The situation quickly turned into a military confrontation that lasted more than 80 hours.

During the conflict, Pakistan responded forcefully to Indian attacks. Several Indian fighter jets and drones were reportedly shot down before the fighting ended on May 10 following diplomatic intervention by the United States.

In a statement issued on the Marka-e-Haq anniversary, the military’s media wing said the occasion represents a proud and historic chapter for Pakistan, especially for the Pakistan Air Force. It added that the events strengthened public confidence and highlighted the country’s growing defence capabilities.

The statement praised the Pakistan Air Force for improving its operational strength through modern technology and advanced defence systems. According to the military, the force has continued to upgrade its capabilities to meet the changing demands of modern warfare.

Officials said the Pakistan Air Force has focused heavily on multi-domain operations and future-ready combat strategies. The military described these operations as unique in the history of aerial warfare and said they demonstrated the professionalism and preparedness of Pakistani forces.

The statement also stressed that Pakistan remains committed to peace and regional stability. It said the armed forces believe peace must always be linked with dignity, honour and sovereign equality.

At the same time, the military acknowledged the changing regional security environment and said Pakistan remains alert to emerging threats and hostile intentions. It added that the armed forces are continuing to invest in advanced technologies, training and strategic capabilities.

The military warned that any hostile action against Pakistan would be answered with greater force than what was seen during the conflict last year. The statement underlined that the country’s defence institutions remain fully prepared for future challenges.

The armed forces also paid tribute to Pakistan Air Force personnel for their professionalism, sacrifices and operational excellence during the defence of Pakistan’s airspace.

The statement ended with a message of national pride, declaring the Pakistan Air Force a symbol of strength, confidence and honour for the nation.
