LAHORE: Daughter of former primer minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and vice president of the PML-N Maryam Nawaz has alleged that the government has imposed ban on homemade food for Mian Nawaz Sharif.
In a tweet, she said that the employees are waiting outside of the jail for the last five hours, but the jail authorities have refused to take food from them. She claimed that Mian Nawaz Sharif has refused to eat jail-food. She added that if the government did not withdraw ban on homemade food, then she would approach the court.
“If I fail to get help from the court, then I will observe hunger strike in front of the Kot Lakhpat jail”, she said, adding that she could not trust them (these cruel persons), they could mix something in the food. “Its not a warning, but I will do it” she added.
