Parts of country likely to receive rain

ISLAMABAD: Amid a severe countrywide wave of cold, a fresh spell of rain and snowfall is likely to begin today (Friday). The wet spell is expected to prevail till Wednesday.
Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places in KP, FATA from Saturday to Wednesday
Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places in upper Punjab from Sunday to Wednesday. Rain is also expected at isolated places in southern Punjab on Saturday/Sunday.
Rain with snowfall over the hills is expected at a number of places in Balochistan from Friday to Sunday.
Rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Sindh during Friday to Saturday.
Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from Saturday to Wednesday.
An active westerly wave is likely to enter in the country through Balochistan today (Friday) and grip the southern/central and upper parts of the country from the weekend.
Mostly partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions in the country. However rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at number of places in Balochistan and at isolated places in Sukkur, Larkana, D.I.Khan, Multan and D.G Khan divisions during (evening/night).
Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at a number of places in Balochistan, while at isolated places in KP, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, Sindh and Punjab.
Weather remained very cold and dry in most parts of the country. Foggy conditions prevailed over few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
