A militant drone attack in Bajaur killed a nine-year-old child and injured a woman after a residential house was targeted in the Mamond tehsil of the district.
According to local sources, the attack took place in the Inam Khoro area of Chena Gai in Mamond tehsil, where a drone struck the house of a local resident identified as Hayatullah.
The strike left a nine-year-old child dead on the spot, while a woman sustained injuries.
Rescue teams shifted the injured woman to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment, where she is receiving medical care.
Local sources said the attack targeted a civilian residence, resulting in casualties among non-combatants.
The incident has raised concerns over the safety of civilians in the area, particularly women and children, amid ongoing security challenges in the region.
