LAHORE: The Appellate Tribunal of Lahore High Court allowed PTI leader and former federal minister Moonis Elahi to contest the by-election.
The tribunal accepted the nomination papers of Moonis Elahi and set aside the decision of the Returning Officer (RO).
The Returning Officer had rejected the nomination papers of PP-158 of a former federal minister.
It is pertinent to mention here that Moonis was also denied to contest election in February 8 general elections.
