QUETTA: The nephew of MPA Liaquat has been arrested on charges of violence against police officers. The Quetta police apprehended the suspect, Danesh, for allegedly assaulting traffic police personnel.
According to reports, the incident involved the torture of traffic police by the accused. The situation escalated when Provincial Ministers from the Pakistan People’s Party and other Assembly members arrived at the Saryab Police Station, seeking to apologize for the incident on behalf of the suspect.
Despite the intervention, the police proceeded with the case, leading to a raid on the MPA’s house. Danesh was arrested and handed over to the Saryab Police Station for further proceedings.
