MQM-P delegation calls on PM, coordination committee formed

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of the MQM-P Wednesday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at his office and discussed issues concerning Sindh especially Karachi’s problems.
Federal information minister Khalid Maqbool law minister Farogh Naseem, MNA Syed Aminul Haq, finance minister Asad Umar, Naeemul Haq, Malik Mohammad Amir Dogar were present in the meeting.
They discussed the matters between the coalition partners, problems being faced by the people of Sindh especially Karachi, Hyderabad and other big cities.
The prime minister said that the federal government would play its role in solution of the problems of Sindh. The meeting decided to form a committee headed by governor Sindh Imran Islmail for further strengthening coordination between the two parties. The prime minister would lay the foundation stone of Hyderabad University.
Meanwhile, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail also called on the prime minister. They discussed issues relating to the problems being faced by Sindh people.
Prime Minister said he fully understands the sufferings of the people of the province. He federal government will play its role in resolving the issues of Sindh. The Governor took the Prime Minister into confidence on political situation in the province.
Imran Ismail also briefed the Prime Minister on situation in the aftermath of JIT report.
