KARACHI: Shahzaib, the son of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) MNA Rana Ansar, tragically passed away in a road accident near Clifton Underpass, Karachi, on Wednesday.
The accident occurred early in the morning when Shahzaib’s car, due to over speeding, collided with a footpath. He suffered a fatal head injury, while his friend Muhammad Ilyas, who was also in the vehicle, was injured. Shahzaib was 35, and Ilyas is 30. Both were transported to Jinnah Hospital.
The deceased Shahzaib was the youngest son of MNA Rana Ansar and the late journalist Syed Ansar Ali Naqvi.
Following the legal process, the police handed over Shahzaib’s body to his family, who announced his funeral would take place after Isha prayers.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed their condolences, offering prayers and support to Rana Ansar and her family during this difficult time.
