LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif will return home today (Saturday) after four years self-exile.
The former prime minister’s flight, scheduled to depart at 9:00 am Dubai time, has garnered anticipation, with his brother Shehbaz Sharif expressing the nation’s readiness to welcome him.
Shehbaz Sharif mentioned the historic gathering planned at Minar-e-Pakistan, expecting a significant turnout.
Numerous PML-N supporters have already gathered in Dubai, intending to accompany Nawaz Sharif on his journey back to Pakistan. Upon his return, Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to address PML-N workers at a meeting held at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore.
In preparation for the rally, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz visited Minar-e-Pakistan to oversee the arrangements. Nawaz Sharif, having spent a busy day in Dubai, engaged in discussions with a senior personality from the Dubai government on matters of mutual interest, including potential investments in Pakistan.
Reports indicate that various delegations also had scheduled meetings with Nawaz Sharif during his time in Dubai, contributing to a hectic schedule. The departure details have been finalized, with Nawaz Sharif’s flight, FZ 4525, set to depart from Terminal II at 9 o’clock local time in Dubai, bound for Lahore.
