Nestlé Announces $60 Million New Investment in Pakistan

DAVOS: Global food giant Nestlé has announced an additional investment of $60 million in Pakistan, reaffirming its confidence in the country’s economy and long-term growth potential.

The announcement was made during a business roundtable held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, chaired by the Federal Minister for Finance. The meeting was attended by chief executives and senior leaders of leading multinational companies.

According to the Ministry of Finance, Nestlé said it aims to develop Pakistan into a regional production and export hub. Under the plan, Nestlé products manufactured in Pakistan will be exported to 26 countries.

Company representatives expressed strong confidence in Pakistan’s economic direction, ongoing reforms, and improving investment climate. Officials said the investment reflects growing international trust in Pakistan’s manufacturing and export potential.

The development is seen as a positive signal for foreign direct investment (FDI) at a time when the government is actively seeking to boost exports and industrial growth.
