Nine Indian Sponsored Khwarij Eliminated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations

Between May 24 and 25, 2025, security forces neutralized nine Indian Sponsored Khwarij in three different operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

The first operation took place in Dera Ismail Khan. Intelligence agencies had reported the presence of Indian Sponsored Khwarij in the district. Acting on this tip, security personnel launched a precision operation. During the encounter, a fierce gun battle broke out. After heavy exchange of fire, four extremists were gunned down. All four were confirmed as Indian Sponsored Khwarij.

A second intelligence-driven raid was conducted in Tank District. Security forces engaged the identified terrorist group. In the crossfire, two more Indian Sponsored Khwarij were eliminated. The operation was quick and accurate.

In the third engagement, security forces moved into the general area of Bagh in Khyber District. Here too, the troops acted on credible intelligence. During the confrontation, three militants were taken out. These Indian Sponsored Khwarij were part of a wider terror network operating in the region.

Weapons and ammunition were seized from all nine dead insurgents. Each of them was involved in terrorist attacks in their respective areas.

Following these successful operations, sanitization missions are underway. Troops are combing the regions to track down any remaining Indian Sponsored Khwarij. The military remains committed to eradicating foreign-backed terrorism from Pakistan.

Security officials confirmed that these actions are part of a broader campaign to defeat the threat posed by Indian Sponsored Khwarij in the country.
