Khyber Pakhtunkhwa operations will not be allowed, stated Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. He emphasized that decisions for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be made locally.
Addressing the Peace Jirga in Bannu, Gandapur declared, “We will not ask for peace and justice; we will take peace and justice. We have shed our blood and sacrificed our lives for Pakistan.”
He highlighted that wise individuals learn from others’ experiences, while foolish ones fail to learn even from their own.
Gandapur reiterated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa operations will not be permitted. “No one else will make our decisions,” he said. “We will make them ourselves. Everyone listen! We will not ask for peace; we will take peace. I swear I will stand with the people for truth, peace, and justice. No one can oppress us on the land of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”
He pointed out that the people of KP suffered due to wrong policies and that funds were taken in their name. “We have reservations about that too,” he noted. “Sacrifice is in our blood, and we will still sacrifice for this country. There are elements that distort our words.”
The Chief Minister advised that those who do not reform should be ready for punishment. “Where there is suspicion of miscreants, the police will take action,” he warned.
Gandapur granted authority to the police to act against drug dealers. “Don’t leave the drug dealers,” he instructed. “I am with you. We may have differences in personality, but I feel pain about the wrong things said about the martyrs.”
He assured that madrassa children are close to our hearts and funds have been allocated for them. “Madrassa students will also be given the right to basic education and employment,” he added.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa operations remain a focal point in Gandapur’s speech, underscoring the importance of local decision-making and the region’s commitment to peace and justice.
