ISLAMABAD: Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Wednesday said that PPP and opposition is insistent that the assembly completes its duration adding that the opposition did not want an uncertain situation which trouble the nation daily.
Speaking to media in Islamabad Shah said, “If a prime minister in just four months time hints at the possibility of midterm election, then there could be no bigger failure than that.” “This is something even the weakest prime minister did not even say. Imran Khan has admitted his and his government’s failure, but the failure of Imran and his government is most certainly not the failure of parliament,” he added.
Shah added, “If decisions are made in the parliament then the situation can become better.”
The PPP leader added that the government has been exposed in just four months. “Cannot say if a new government will come into power or there will be changes in the parliament.” “As it is the country is going through a difficult economic situation,” he added.
