Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft emerged as a major highlight at the World Defense Show 2026 in Saudi Arabia, where cutting-edge military technologies and future combat capabilities are being showcased.
The multi-role JF-17 Thunder Block III fighter jet and the Super Mushshak training aircraft attracted strong international interest due to their advanced operational features and proven performance.
According to a statement issued by a PAF spokesperson, the World Defense Show is a leading global platform for defense and security cooperation, bringing together major aerospace and military players from around the world.
The spokesperson said Pakistan’s participation reinforced its growing reputation as an emerging hub of aerospace innovation, operational excellence and reliable defense partnerships.
The JF-17 Thunder Block III, a 4.5-generation fighter jet, is equipped with beyond-visual-range combat capability, advanced AESA radar, modern avionics and electronic warfare systems. Officials said the aircraft is fully capable of meeting modern aerial combat requirements.
PAF officials described the fighter as a symbol of Pakistan’s expanding indigenous aerospace industry and combat-tested expertise.
The Super Mushshak basic trainer aircraft was also displayed at the exhibition. Known for its low operating cost, easy maintenance and strong performance, the aircraft is widely used by friendly countries for pilot training.
Defense analysts at the show said the presence of PAF platforms highlighted Pakistan’s engineering capabilities and its growing footprint in the global defense market.
The Saudi defense exhibition serves as an important platform for the exchange of modern military technologies, operational expertise and future warfare concepts.
