PAF and PLAAF Deepen Ties Amid Regional Security Talks and Mutual Praise

ISLAMABAD: The strategic bond between the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) reached a new height during a high-level meeting held in Islamabad.

PLAAF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Wang Gang visited PAF Headquarters on Tuesday. He led a top-level Chinese military delegation and met with Pakistan’s Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu.

Lt Gen Wang praised the response of PAF pilots during the recent standoff with India. He described their actions as decisive, measured, and an example of professional excellence. He also commended the PAF’s discipline and bravery under the strong command of Air Chief Zaheer Sidhu.

The two commanders held detailed discussions on shared goals. They talked about Pakistan-China Air Force Cooperation, regional security challenges, and growing military coordination. Both sides agreed to strengthen their collaboration, especially in airpower strategies and joint operational capabilities.

Lt Gen Wang showed deep respect for PAF’s combat readiness. He admired the air force’s modern technology and high-level performance. He also took great interest in PAF’s use of Multi-Domain Operations. He called this integration a sign of modern aerial warfare and said the PLAAF is eager to learn from Pakistan’s combat-tested methods.

The Chinese general openly praised the leadership of the PAF. He said that Pakistan’s air force showed remarkable skill, boldness, and strategic planning during its latest confrontation with India.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer warmly welcomed the Chinese visitors. He said that the Pakistan-China Air Force Cooperation is based on trust, shared values, and a joint vision for lasting peace in the region.

The PLAAF delegation received a full briefing on PAF’s current force design, strategic projects, and evolving doctrines. They were informed about how the PAF is transforming its operational structure to meet modern challenges.

Air Chief Zaheer reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its defense partnership with China. He stressed the need to enhance mutual cooperation in military training, technological exchange, and strategic operations.

This visit reflects the growing strength of Pakistan-China Air Force Cooperation. Both sides are clearly moving toward more innovation and trust-based collaboration.

The ISPR stated that this meeting marks a solid step forward in the historic and proven friendship between the two air forces. It shows a shared resolve to build a stronger military partnership based on mutual respect and future-oriented goals.
