Pakistan and India are set to face each other in the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2024 at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on Saturday (today).
Pakistan beat West Indies by 20 runs in the first semi-final while India Champions defeated Australia Champions by 86 runs in the second semi-final of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2024 which were played at the County Ground in Northampton on Friday.
The rivalry between Pakistan and India is one of the most storied in cricket history, known for producing high-quality matches as both teams give their all.
Both teams remain undefeated in the WCL 2024 so far. Pakistan, the Green Shirts, have defeated Australia and the West Indies, while India, the Blues, have overcome England and the West Indies.
India currently tops the WCL points table with four points from two matches, the same as Pakistan. However, India’s impressive +1.457 Net Run Rate (NRR) gives them the edge over their arch-rivals.
In the tournament’s first match, India chased down a 166-run target to defeat England. In their second match, they secured a 27-run victory against the West Indies via the DLS method.
Meanwhile, Pakistan began their tournament with a bang, chasing a 190-run target to beat Australia. In their second match, they posted a 195-run target and successfully defended it.
With both India and Pakistan in excellent form and undefeated, the upcoming clash promises to be a spectacular contest.
