Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir Warns India: No Room for War in a Nuclear Environment

Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir Warns India: No Room for War in a Nuclear Environment — a powerful message delivered by Field Marshal Asim Munir at the passing-out parade of the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul on Saturday.

The Army Chief cautioned India’s military leadership against any misadventure, asserting that “there is no space for war in a nuclear environment.” His statement reinforced Pakistan’s policy of credible deterrence and unwavering defence readiness against external aggression.

Field Marshal Asim Munir commended Pakistan’s clear victory in the recent border confrontation with India and reminded New Delhi that any provocation would invite a swift, decisive, and overwhelming response. He said that any escalation with catastrophic consequences would rest squarely on India’s shoulders.

Emphasizing Pakistan’s defensive might, the Army Chief warned that if a conflict erupted again, Pakistan’s response would exceed India’s expectations both militarily and economically.

Highlighting the Pakistan Army’s evolution from counterterrorism to full-spectrum conventional warfare, Munir noted that the armed forces, backed by the nation’s trust and faith, have safeguarded Pakistan’s sovereignty since its creation.

He cited successful operations like Maraka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos as examples of the army’s commitment and capability, further strengthening public confidence in national defence.

Field Marshal Munir proudly mentioned Pakistan’s ability to down Rafale jets, strike Indian military bases including S-400 systems, and prove its mastery in multidomain warfare. He praised the unity of the Pakistani nation, describing it as a “steel wall of faith and patriotism” that had reignited the spirit of national pride.

The Army Chief denounced India for exploiting terrorism narratives for political objectives through fabricated evidence and unilateral claims, contrasting it with Pakistan’s global recognition for legitimate defence and transparent conduct.

He assured the people that not an inch of Pakistan’s sacred land would ever be compromised, paying tribute to the martyrs and citizens who safeguarded the nation’s freedom and sovereignty.

Calling Pakistan a “net regional stabilizer,” Field Marshal Asim Munir said that in an era of global uncertainty, Pakistan continues to play a positive role in fostering regional peace and cooperation.

He highlighted milestones like the Pakistan–Saudi Arabia Strategic Mutual Defence Pact and Pakistan’s constructive diplomatic role with Iran and other Muslim nations. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s strategic partnership with China and welcomed the strengthening ties with the United States.

Referring to global conflicts, Munir applauded peace efforts in Gaza and reiterated Pakistan’s call for a permanent ceasefire and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue under UN resolutions, describing both Palestine and Kashmir as stains on the world’s conscience.

Addressing cadets from Pakistan and friendly nations including Malaysia, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Yemen, Mali, Maldives, and Nigeria, Field Marshal Munir congratulated them for joining one of the world’s finest military forces known for its discipline, courage, and professionalism. He praised PMA Kakul’s legacy of excellence, terming it a pillar of Pakistan’s military pride and mastery.

He concluded by reminding the cadets that the bond between the people and the Pakistan Armed Forces is unbreakable and invincible. He emphasized that Pakistan’s defence doctrine is based on credible deterrence, technological innovation, and intellectual readiness — the cornerstones of Pakistan’s enduring strength.
