PESHAWAR: Pakistan Army has set up four mobile health units in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The mobile health unites are equipped with advanced medical facilities such as ECG, ultrasound, and various laboratory tests. The aim is to deliver high-quality healthcare services to local residents, bringing standardized medical facilities right to their doorsteps.
This initiative began in Gardai and Shewa in North Waziristan, with plans for expansion into other regions. The health units feature a dedicated team of specialized doctors, lady doctors, and paramedical staff, ensuring optimal medical care for patients.
The local community has warmly welcomed the establishment of these health units, expressing gratitude to the Pakistani military and the Medical Corps for their collaborative efforts. Beyond offering preventive measures for various diseases, the units also provide free medications to residents.
