Pakistan Batting Collapse as Bangladesh Reduce Them to 919 in First ODI

Pakistan suffered a dramatic batting collapse in the Pakistan vs Bangladesh first ODI, losing nine wickets for just 91 runs.

The opening match of the three-match ODI series is being played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and chose to field first in the Pakistan vs Bangladesh first ODI.

Pakistan’s batting lineup struggled from the start. Wickets fell regularly, which prevented the visitors from building any strong partnership.

Sahibzada Farhan was the top scorer for Pakistan with 27 runs. Meanwhile, captain Mohammad Rizwan managed 10 runs before getting out.

Among the other batters, Muaz Sadaqat scored 18 runs, while Salman Ali Agha made 5 runs. Both Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hussain Talat added 4 runs each, whereas Abdul Samad was dismissed for zero.

The Pakistan vs Bangladesh first ODI also marked a special moment for several young players. Four cricketers made their ODI debut, including Sahibzada Farhan, Muaz Sadaqat, Abdul Samad, and Shamil Hussain.

Other players in Pakistan’s lineup include Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Wasim Jr, and Abrar Ahmed.

Pakistan now faces a difficult situation in the Pakistan vs Bangladesh first ODI, as Bangladesh bowlers continue to dominate the match in Mirpur.
