Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their united front against terrorism and hostile propaganda designed to shake regional peace. This was stated by Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, during an interview with CGTN Urdu.
He openly criticised baseless accusations made by a foreign country. Though he did not name the country, he made it clear that these claims lacked evidence. “These are part of a wider strategy to impose dominance in the region,” said Lt Gen Chaudhry. “But Pakistan has never submitted, and we never will. Our desire for martyrdom is greater than life itself.”
He stressed that martyrdom remains a badge of honour in Pakistan. “Whether our soldiers wear blue, white, or khaki, they all stand ready to sacrifice,” he said.
Lt Gen Chaudhry attributed Pakistan’s strength to faith, unity, and determination. “With Allah’s help, our national confidence and unity have led us to success time and again,” he explained. He also pointed out that Pakistan enjoys global respect because of its consistent and just policies.
Speaking on terrorism, he declared it as the greatest hurdle in the path of development. “Pakistan and China are firmly united to eliminate this threat,” he said. “Both countries are committed to peace, stability, and a better future for the region.”
He praised China’s rapid progress as a model worth following. “The way China has developed with the world’s largest population is remarkable,” he said. “Pakistanis, too, dream of prosperity and growth.”
Lt Gen Chaudhry discussed global issues like climate change, misinformation, and population pressure. He questioned the logic of enforcing regional control without facts. “How can anyone justify dominance without truth?” he asked.
He described both Pakistan and China as responsible nations. Their top priority, he said, is public welfare and national well-being. “Peace leads to prosperity. That’s why we are battling terrorism. Its only goal is to stop our development,” he added.
Despite constant challenges, he said, Pakistanis remain humble. “You won’t see us celebrating military victories with arrogance,” he said. “Instead, we thank Allah in silence and stay focused.”
Lt Gen Chaudhry called for strong national unity. He said Pakistan needs an “iron wall” of people, armed forces, youth, media, and government. “This united force must root out terrorism completely,” he declared. “Once this evil is crushed, Pakistan will rise to new heights of development.”
