ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office has strongly restated Pakistan’s commitment to peace in response to the Israeli Prime Minister’s concern about a perceived threat from Pakistan.
This comes amidst the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, causing global worries.
During a regular briefing, Foreign Office Spokesman Mumtaz Zahra Baloch emphasized that Pakistan is dedicated to peace and stability in the region.
Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar recently discussed the Gaza conflict with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Urging quick action to stop innocent lives being lost and calling for an immediate end to Israeli aggression against Palestinians.
The OIC Executive Committee has also condemned Israel’s actions, reflecting international concerns.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch announced that a relief ship from Pakistan will depart for Egypt, carrying essential supplies for Gaza’s Muslim population.
These items will be sent from Egypt to Gaza to aid those affected by the ongoing conflict.
Expressing disappointment in the United Nations Security Council’s actions. The Foreign Office urged the council to actively participate in ending the Israeli bombing campaign.
Pakistan sees the Security Council’s role as crucial in resolving the crisis.
The Foreign Office emphasized that Israel’s rejection of the Prime Minister’s statement about a perceived threat from Pakistan is baseless.
Pakistan continues to stand as a peaceful nation, advocating for diplomatic solutions to conflicts.
