Pakistan lodges strong protest with India ceasefire violations

Pakistan closely monitoring matter of alleged fake marriages by Chinese nationals: FO

ISLAMABAD: Deputy High Commissioner (HC) of India, JP Singh was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday and lodged protest with over unabated violations of ceasefire at the Line of Control (LoC).
Spokesperson for the Foreign Office (FO), Nafees Zakaria reported that the government recorded protest over bloodshed of innocent people at the Working Boundary and LoC.
A protest dossier was handed over to J P Singh by Director General (DG) of South Asia desk, Dr Faisal.
The latest of unprovoked Indian firing at the border has claimed two lives today while damaged around five houses.
On Saturday, India resorted to unprovoked fire in Khuiratta Sector that left two children martyred while schools, mosques and houses were damaged in shelling.
The violation of ceasefire on Saturday came the day when an Indian submarine violated maritime boundary and was forced by Pakistan Navy to disclose its location in Pakistani waters after which it was made to return.
