Pakistan marked the 55th martyrdom anniversary of Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, on Thursday, with the country’s top military leadership leading tributes to his sacrifice.

In Rawalpindi, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of the Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, joined Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, along with the wider Armed Forces of Pakistan, in solemnly observing the occasion.

Military leadership offered heartfelt tributes to Minhas, recognizing the immense sacrifice he made in defense of the country.
