ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Post Office is going to have services like NADRA. This means that people can go to post offices to change, renew, or get new identity cards if they lose theirs.
This will start in Islamabad, where there will be seven post offices offering these services. Postmaster General Mustafa Kamal explained that they decided to do this because many people were waiting outside NADRA offices. They plan to do this in other cities soon.
On another note, there are reports in the media that some NADRA employees have been accused of making fake ID cards and passports for hundreds of Iranian people. NADRA’s main office has received a complaint against these employees.
The media also says that the security of Pakistan was put at risk because of these fake ID cards. Many fake cards were made in various NADRA centers in Baluchistan, with the suspected involvement of NADRA employees.
