Rawalpindi, 25 October 2024 – The closing ceremony of the Pakistan-Russia Joint Exercise Druzhba-VII took place at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi, marking the conclusion of a two-week counter-terrorism drill between the armies of Pakistan and Russia.
Special Forces from the Pakistan Army and 54 personnel from the Russian Army took part in the exercise, which began on October 13, 2024.
The event was attended by Chief Guest, Inspector General Training & Evaluation (IGT&E), Lieutenant General Fayyaz Hussain Shah, HI (M), and Russian Ambassador His Excellency Albert P. Khorev. The exercise provided both armies an opportunity to enhance their counter-terrorism skills, refine tactics, and strengthen longstanding military relations.
