Pakistan on Wednesday strongly condemned the unprovoked violation of its airspace by Iran and the strike inside Pakistani territory which resulted in the death of two innocent children while injuring three girls.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) issued a statement expressing its vehement disapproval, stating, “This violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty is entirely unacceptable and may lead to severe consequences.”
The statement further emphasized the alarming nature of the incident, given that it occurred despite the presence of established communication channels between Pakistan and Iran. Pakistan has already lodged a robust protest with the relevant senior official in the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran.
The foreign office spokesperson conveyed that the Iranian Charge d’affaires has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to communicate Pakistan’s strongest condemnation of this blatant infringement of sovereignty, emphasizing that Iran bears full responsibility for the ensuing consequences.

Pakistan consistently said that terrorism poses a shared threat to all nations in the region, necessitating coordinated efforts. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) spokesperson stated that unilateral actions of this nature are inconsistent with fostering good neighborly relations and have the potential to significantly erode bilateral trust and confidence.
It’s essential to highlight that on January 20, 2023, Pakistan called upon the Iranian Ambassador to address the involvement of terrorists from Iran in the attack on security forces in Panjgur.
