Islamabad: The Pakistani government has announced the immediate dispatch of two ships loaded with relief goods to Lebanon and Gaza.
During a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, officials reviewed the ongoing aid efforts and resolved to expedite assistance to the affected regions. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with Pakistani ambassadors in Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt to ensure effective delivery of aid.
He instructed that relief supplies should not only be sent by sea but also delivered via land and air routes to reach those in need swiftly.
Additionally, Prime Minister Sharif called for an awareness campaign to encourage public support for the Relief Fund for Gaza and Lebanon, urging citizens to contribute to the welfare of their Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters.
