Baloch expressed Pakistan’s desire for peaceful ties with Afghanistan, emphasizing solidarity amid the challenging humanitarian and security situation in the region.
She underscored Pakistan’s international advocacy for the continued provision of humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.
Addressing questions, Baloch reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding workers and projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
She asserted resilience against any terrorist threats to CPEC or other investment projects.
The spokesperson also voiced concerns over the situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, urging India to repeal draconian laws and cease using terrorism claims to suppress dissent.
Turning to the Middle East, Baloch called for a durable ceasefire in Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need for humanitarian aid and medical assistance.
Expressing deep concern over Israeli aggression in the West Bank, she urged the international community to take decisive steps against terrorism and support a comprehensive investigation into attacks on various facilities in occupied Palestine.
