The duo reached a 100-run stand in the 11th over. Faheem Ashraf finally broke the opening pair, dismissing Tanzid for 42 off 32 balls. Three balls later, Shadab Khan removed Emon, who had played a brilliant knock of 66 off 34.
Captain Litton Das and Towhid Hridoy tried to rebuild. Hridoy started strong with aggressive intent, while Das played a supporting role. Together, they helped Bangladesh cross 150 in the 15th over.
