On the penultimate day, Prime Minister’s XI, trailing by just 24 runs, showcased a strong performance, thanks to Matt Renshaw’s unbeaten century (136 not out, 337 balls, 8 boundaries, 1 six), taking the team to 367-4 in 141 overs.
Earlier in the match, Pakistan had declared their innings at 391-9, with captain Shan Masood leading the batting with an outstanding double century (201 not out, 298 balls, 14 boundaries, 1 six). Shan was rightfully awarded the player of the match for his exceptional contribution. Right-arm pacer Jordan Buckingham also impressed, securing a five-wicket haul in the innings.
