Pakistan’s skipper Agha Salman won the toss and opted to bat first. Fakhar Zaman led the charge with an explosive innings of 77 off 44 deliveries. His knock included 10 boundaries and two towering sixes. Mohammad Nawaz also contributed with a handy 37 runs, pushing Pakistan to a competitive total.
By the end of 20 overs, Pakistan posted 171 runs for the loss of five wickets. For the UAE side, Haider Ali impressed with the ball, taking two wickets.
During the chase, the hosts fought hard but fell short. The UAE side could only manage 140 runs in their allotted overs, leaving them 31 runs behind the target. Abrar Ahmed stole the show with the ball, dismissing four batters and sealing the contest for Pakistan.
For the UAE, Alishan Sharafu was the standout performer. He scored a resilient 68 runs, but his efforts were not enough to guide his team home.
With this dominant Pakistan vs UAE T20 victory, Pakistan has booked its place in the series final. The grand finale of the Tri-Nation T20I Series 2025 will be played on September 7.
