A new weather system will enter Pakistan from April 1. It will bring rain, hailstorms, and snowfall in different parts of the country. The system will remain active until April 4.
According to the Meteorological Department, Balochistan may receive rain and hailstorms. Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is expected to receive rain with thunder in upper and plain areas.
Islamabad and Rawalpindi are also likely to receive rain. In Galyat, snowfall is expected along with rain. Similarly, rain and hailstorms are forecast in the plains and southern districts of Punjab.
Moreover, Karachi and other parts of Sindh may receive intermittent rain from April 2 to April 4.
The Met Office has also issued a warning. Landslides may occur in upper areas. Flash flooding is also possible in western Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
