Pakistan’s new ambassador presents credentials to President Trump today

WASHINGTON: Newly-appointed Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States Dr Asad Majeed Khan will present his credentials to President Donald Trump today.
A ceremony will take place at the White House during which the ambassadors of Afghanistan and India will also present their credentials to the US president.
Dr Majeed reached Washington on January 8 to take charge of his new Dr Majeed replaced Ali Jahangir Siddiqi, who was appointed ambassador by the PML-N government at the far end of its five-year tenure.
