The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the formation of a new selection committee after dismissing Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq.
The new committee includes nine members, with four voting members and five non-voting members. The voting members are former captain Mohammad Yousuf, Asad Shafiq, the current captain, and the head coach. The non-voting members are Azhar Mahmood, Bilal Afzal, Hasan Cheema, Nadeem Khan, and Usman Wahla.
Additionally, the PCB has established a separate women’s selection committee. This committee comprises four members: Asad Shafiq, Batool Fatima (the women’s team captain), and the head coach.
This restructuring by the PCB aims to introduce fresh perspectives and improve team performance for the upcoming cricket season.
