LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has declined to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to fast bowler Naseem Shah, preventing his participation in ‘The Hundred’ league.
Naseem Shah had previously signed with Birmingham Phoenix for the league, but concerns over his past injury issues and workload management prompted the PCB’s decision.
Recognized as a key bowler for Pakistan’s Test team, Naseem Shah’s availability and fitness are paramount, especially with an upcoming home series against Bangladesh next month.
PCB sources said that their priority is ensuring Naseem Shah remains fit and ready for Pakistan’s upcoming international commitments.
