PDM wants to pit PTI and army against each other: Imran Khan

LAHORE: Chairman PTI Imran Khan has said that the PDM wants to pit PTI and the army against each other, adding that the entire effort of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is to make the PTI and the army fight each other.
In a video speech, the PTI chief made it clear that the army belongs to him and so does the country. “My life and death are in Pakistan, I will not run away from this country with my wealth. If a person knows that his life is in danger and he still goes towards Islamabad, then he does not fear death.”
If they cannot win the elections, they want to eliminate the PTI, and if that is not possible, then they want the army to fight against the PTI, he said. He said that PTI was not behind campaign against the army chief, adding that no one could control the social media.
Imran Khan said that they were peacefully marching towards Islamabad when bullets were fired at them, tear gas was used to disperse them , and there was an attack on his house where things were broken and looted. “Despite people’s anger, I appeal to them not to engage in any violence or pick up any weapons and to remain peaceful because we need elections.”
The chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that politicians who come for their personal gain try to divide people by spreading hate and collect votes by doing so. This is an old tactic that is also used in India where Modi claims that Hindus are a great nation and there is no place for anyone else, he said
He said that overseas Pakistanis should go to the world and inform human rights organizations and politicians about how human rights violations are taking place in Pakistan. He said that no one is concerned about the Constitution and democracy. He said that elections are scheduled for April 30, but the current government is not allowing an election environment to be created. “Our election rally was attacked and Zile Shah was martyred. He said, “we will contact international human rights organizations today and contact countries through the PTI offices abroad, and we will also refer to Chief Justice of Pakistan that there is no law left here and fear is being spread here by force.”
