Lahore: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has forecasted monsoon rains in most districts of the province starting today.
In a statement, the PDMA spokesman mentioned that the monsoon rains are expected to continue across the province until Sunday.
The spokesman also noted that while the current flow of water in the rivers of Punjab is normal, a medium to high flood warning has been issued for Marala on the Chenab River.
The PDMA has instructed relevant agencies to remain alert and prepared for emergency situations.
