Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has temporarily suspended its flight operations to Turkey, according to sources.
The suspension, which began on September 28, is expected to continue until at least October 13.
PIA, which typically operates four weekly flights from Islamabad and Lahore to Turkey, halted its services due to non-payment issues related to inventory and airport slots. Consequently, no flights will be available to Turkey during this period.
This suspension affects a vital international route for PIA, which has been working to maintain regular operations amid ongoing financial challenges. Passengers who had booked flights to Turkey are advised to stay informed about any updates and rescheduling options.
