At least five labourers were killed and another sustained critical injuries after unidentified gunmen opened fire on workers in Balochistan’s Pishin district. The Pishin firing incident took place in the Saranan Kili Suleman Zai area, sending shockwaves through the local community.
According to police sources, the attack occurred on Monday when armed assailants targeted a group of workers employed at a local brick kiln. The gunmen reportedly used automatic weapons during the assault, leaving little chance for the labourers to escape.
Officials confirmed that five workers lost their lives on the spot, while a sixth labourer was left in critical condition. Police stated that the victims, both those killed and the injured survivor, belonged to Punjab, having travelled to Balochistan for work at the kiln.

News of the shooting quickly spread fear across the surrounding neighbourhood. Residents described a tense atmosphere as law enforcement personnel rushed to the scene shortly after the attack was reported.
