MTI Act to improve management of hospitals: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday visited ISI headquarters, who was briefed about the strategic intelligence and national security matters.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and DG ISI received the prime minister and federal cabinet members including defence minister at the ISI headquarters. The prime minister laid floral wreath on the monument of martyrs and offered dua.
According to ISPR, The prime minister termed the ISI as first line of defence of the country. The prime minister appreciated the ISI’s role in war against terrorism, the ISPR stated. He also appreciated the roel of the ISI in national security issues.
The prime minister said that the government and the people were standing behind the armed forces and intelligence agencies. He said that the government and the masses recognized successes of these institutions. He said that the ISI is one of the best intelligence agencies of the world.
Meanwhile, federal information minister reportedly said that the prime minister and federal cabinet were given briefing by DG ISI and army chief for about eight hours. He said that the prime minister chaired the meeting at ISI headquarters.
