Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has launched a new initiative to provide electric motorcycles to outstanding students from government schools. This announcement was made during a meeting aimed at advancing the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
Similar to the previous laptop initiative, the program will award electric motorbikes to high-achieving students in government schools.
Additionally, the Prime Minister has directed the Capital Development Authority to create a comprehensive plan for implementing electric-powered public transportation in Islamabad.
To further promote sustainability, Shehbaz Sharif has instructed all federal ministries to exclusively procure electric motorbikes for government use in the future, aiming to conserve national funds.
