Amid growing conflict with India, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached out to major political leaders on Saturday. He briefed them on the Pakistan response to Indian aggression, which included missile and drone attacks on Pakistani territory.
As reported by Khyber News, the prime minister contacted several top figures. These included PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, MQM-P Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, JI Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, BAP’s Khalid Magsi, and PML-Q leader Chaudhry Salik Hussain.
PM Shehbaz told them that India had targeted civilians and key sites, including the Noor Khan Airbase. He said Pakistan showed patience despite repeated Indian provocations. But today, Pakistan launched a coordinated military response.
“Alhamdulillah, our armed forces gave a strong and united reply,” the prime minister stated.
He added that Pakistan had proposed an impartial probe into the Pahalgam attack. But India rejected it and instead raised the level of confrontation.
“This morning again, India launched fresh missile strikes. Noor Khan Airbase and other locations were hit,” Shehbaz said. He stressed that innocent lives were targeted in these attacks.
He shared a clear message with both the nation and political leadership. “Today, we avenged the blood of our innocent citizens. Our reply was crushing and timely. I congratulate the nation and our leadership for this success. We stand proud of our brave forces,” the prime minister declared.
This Pakistan response to Indian aggression was not just military—it was also political and symbolic. It showed unity across party lines during a time of national crisis.
The retaliatory action was described as powerful and calculated. Shehbaz Sharif assured all stakeholders that Pakistan remains committed to defending its people and sovereignty.
The military response has not only reassured the public but also sent a clear message to India. According to officials, the counterattack was necessary to stop future threats and defend national dignity.
