PM Shehbaz Offers Condolences to Aimal Wali Khan on Mother Death

CHARSADDA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited to the residence of Asfandyar Wali Khan, the leader of the Awami National Party, to offer his condolences on the passing of his wife.

In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, it was said that during the visit, PM Sharif met with Asfandyar’s son, Aimal Wali Khan, who is also the provincial president of the ANP.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif expressed his sympathies and recited Fateha for the deceased, praying for her soul to attain the highest status in heaven. He also extended his condolences to the grieving family and offered prayers for their patience during this difficult time.

The gathering included other prominent figures such as Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Minister of State for Frontier Regions Ameer Muqam, former MNA Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MPA Akhtar Wali.

The wife of Asfandyar Wali Khan, who also served as the mother of Aimal Wali Khan, the provincial president of ANP, passed away on March 11. She was laid to rest in Charsadda, at Wali Bagh.

Numerous political leaders, including President Asif Zardari, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, offered their condolences to the bereaved family during this challenging time.
