PM Shehbaz Sharif Praises Pakistan Navy at Pakistan Naval Academy Parade

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the Pakistan Naval Academy parade at PNS Rahbar as the chief guest, where he lauded the professionalism of the Pakistan Navy and highlighted its important role in Marka-e-Haq.

The prime minister inspected the parade and appreciated the high professional standards maintained by the Pakistan Navy. He also expressed satisfaction over the participation of cadets from friendly countries in the ceremony.

A formal graduation ceremony was held for 125 midshipmen and cadets of the 33rd Short Service Course. The graduating batch included cadets from Bahrain, Iraq and Djibouti.

Officer Cadet Alveera Hamza received the Commandant Gold Medal, while Officer Cadet Hafiz Muhammad Ahmed Munawar was awarded the Chief of Defence Forces Gold Medal. Academy Dirk Midshipman honour went to Hadi Abbas Khan, while Midshipman Umar Mukhtar received the honorary sword for outstanding performance.

Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the sacrifices of the nation and public support remain Pakistan’s greatest strength. He said Pakistan continues to promote peace at the international level.

The prime minister said peace and cooperation are more important than ever in the current global environment. He reiterated that Pakistan believes in resolving issues through dialogue, diplomacy and peaceful means.

Congratulating the graduating cadets, Shehbaz Sharif said their achievements were a source of pride for the nation and would support them in their future service to the country.

He also praised the training standards at the Pakistan Naval Academy, saying the institution is producing highly capable officers who will contribute significantly to the country’s defence and security.

The prime minister said the Pakistan Navy is not only a strong defensive force but is also playing an important role in promoting regional peace and stability. He added that Pakistan has always given priority to peace and dialogue.

Referring to recent diplomatic developments, Shehbaz Sharif said the agreement between the United States and Iran was an honour for Pakistan. He said Islamabad signed the memorandum of understanding as a mediator with the support of Iran and other friendly countries. He added that Pakistan-Iran relations would grow stronger following the recent visit of the Iranian president.
