ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today (Thursday).
According to a spokesperson, this will be the Prime Minister’s first visit to the UAE since his election.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with the President of the Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. The two leaders will engage in special discussions on trade and investment.
The Prime Minister’s spokesperson stated that the discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UAE. During his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to meet with other prominent Emirati figures, including businessmen and heads of financial institutions.
Pakistan and the UAE share longstanding fraternal ties rooted in religious and cultural affinity, with frequent high-level exchanges being a key feature of their relationship.
The spokesperson emphasized that Shehbaz’s visit represents a significant step towards enhancing the multifaceted cooperation between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
