The federal government announced on Saturday a reduction in petroleum product prices, effective immediately.
Under the new pricing structure, there are modest decreases across various fuel types, offering some relief amid the rising cost of living.
Petrol prices have been cut by Rs 1.86 per litre, now standing at Rs 259.10 per litre. High-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 3.32 per litre, with the new price at Rs 262.75 per litre.
Kerosene oil prices have also decreased, with the new rate set at Rs 169.62 per litre. Light diesel oil (LDO) has seen a reduction of Rs 2.97 per litre, bringing its price to Rs 154.05 per litre.
