In a heartbreaking incident, Mehmoodul Hasan, a prominent leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chapter in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), lost his life in a fatal road accident while returning from a party reception in Lahore to welcome Nawaz Sharif.
Dr. Hasan, a highly respected figure in Azad Kashmir’s political landscape, had participated in a PML-N reception meeting earlier in the evening. The unfortunate accident occurred as he was heading back to his home in Kotli.
Mehmoodul Hasan had previously served as the secretary of PML-N, AJK.
